ANNOUNCING...
Look for my services on the Boulder Valley Gifted and Talented website www.bvgt.org on their family resources page for group therapy. I am very pleased to announce that Mapleton Center for Pediatrics in Boulder has endorsed Boulder Learning Co-op, LLC as one of the clinics/private practices to refer parents and children with sensory, regulation and children on the autistic spectrum, post-diagnosis.
My private practice is also a preferred provider for the ASD program at IMAGINE!

The New York Times has a piece in an August issue on Childhood depression in very young children.  Theraplay technique is one of the foundations of my work in developmental play therapy.  Enjoy reading this article.

TESTIMONIALS on behalf of Lisa Tretout, M.A.

"Social awkwardness and maintaining friendships have always been difficult for our son.  Lisa's social skills groups have helped him and many others learn peer relations. Our son also enjoyed his group time with the horses."
Parent of a child on the autistic spectrum

"Lisa has been an incredible gift to our family and our child.  As a child affected deeply by the divorce of her mom & dad, she has grown to have a deeper and more compassionate view and feeling about herself, under Lisa''s care.  She is a wonderful counselor and I encourage other parents to know Lisa." Parent of elementary age child

"Lisa's work in play therapy and sand work has helped our son become happier, better behaved and well received at school.  We are very thankful that we found Lisa Tretout.  Even though he is young...we've been worried about his oppositional behavior."
Parents of elemantary age gifted child

"Our teen daughter seemed to be devastated by our divorce, was depressed and isolating last year.  After 6 months of weekly sessions with Lisa Tretout, M.A. we have our daughter back.  I couldn't feel more grateful, and worth the time and investment in a 14 year old's natural tendency towards individuality...but with less conflict and more happiness for our family and our daughter.  She continues to see Lisa to this day" Parents of adolescent high school freshman.

"Social situations have always been difficult for our child, especially this past year in kindergarten.  Working with just a few children with similar issues helped him tremendously.  Hoping he has a good 1st grade year!  Thank you Lisa."
