NEW PARENTS! Let me know if you would like your child to experience the benefit of equine therapy as part of their social skills group experience.

As part of each 8-week course of social skills play therapy groups, once a month we go to Medicine Horse Program for therapeutic riding. Brien Benjamin, M.A. and I have been co-facilitating this portion of my Friends Groups for almost two years. The other weekly group sessions are held in my office. Limbic resonance, social engagement, teamwork, learning skills in social reciprocity, sharing special interests and learning new games!  Friends Group is fun.

I enjoy partnering with Medicine Horse Program very much,  and my colleague, Brien Benjamin, M.A., Wilderness and Equine Psychotherapist is a supurb collaborator and co-therapist for me at the ranch. We work well together and share the IMAGNE! connection and a similar referral/family resourse list.  Contact me for more details about an appropriate social skills group for your child. Some children with 'attention differences' or behavioral challenges are best suited for individual play therapy in my play therapy room in North Boulder.  Other children participate in weekly group play therapy sessions in my office, combined with monthly sessions co-facilitated by Brien and myself at the ranch.  It works very well.
